Acceptable Use Policy
Forever Linked Academy — Acceptable Use Policy
Version: 1.0 (draft for legal review)
Effective date: [Insert publication date — set on lawyer sign-off]
Last updated: 16 May 2026
Status: DRAFT — not legally binding until reviewed by counsel and published at foreverlinkedacademy.com/acceptable-use
About this draft. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") supplements §12 of the Terms of Service. The Terms of Service govern in the event of any inconsistency. This document exists to set out, in concrete terms, what each FLA member can and cannot do with the platform, so that we can take enforcement action quickly and predictably when the line is crossed.
1. Who this policy is from and who it applies to
This AUP is given by Oskr Pty Ltd (ABN 77 667 176 516), trading as Forever Linked Permanent Jewellery, in respect of the Forever Linked Academy ("FLA") platform.
It applies to every person who creates an FLA account or otherwise uses the platform, regardless of subscription tier (Spark, Flame, Blaze, Inferno) or certification status (Foundation, Practitioner, Master, or none).
It applies in addition to:
- the Terms of Service, especially §12 (Acceptable use), §4 (Your account), and §13 (Intellectual property)
- the Privacy Policy
- the FLA Code of Conduct (for certified artists, at
foreverlinkedacademy.com/code-of-conduct)
2. Your account is yours, and only yours
Your FLA subscription gives you, personally, a licence to access FLA content for your own study and use. It is not transferable and it is not shareable.
You agree:
- not to share your password, magic link, or session cookie with any other person
- not to give any other person access to your account, including by displaying your screen during a paid event, course, or training session
- not to log in to FLA from a shared kiosk or training device on behalf of another person
- not to register more than one personal account, except where we have expressly enabled multiple accounts for a business
- to enable multi-factor authentication where your tier requires it (Practitioner, Master, and all reviewer accounts)
- to notify us at
security@foreverlinkedacademy.comimmediately if you suspect your account has been accessed without your authorisation
If you operate a permanent jewellery business and want to give team members access to FLA, please contact us at support@foreverlinkedacademy.com to discuss appropriate seat-based or team plan arrangements. Logging in as another person, or letting another person log in as you, is a breach of this AUP and may result in suspension of your account.
3. Course content is for your own learning
The training modules, written guides, quizzes, assessment rubrics, certificate templates, badges, downloadable resources, and the design of the public verification register are owned by FLA or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws (see Terms of Service §13).
You agree not to:
- download, copy, screen-record, photograph, or otherwise reproduce FLA course content beyond the personal-study tools we provide in the platform
- share, post, upload, mirror, or distribute FLA content — in whole or in part — to any other person, platform, social media account, file-sharing service, AI training corpus, or course library
- sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or otherwise commercialise FLA content
- create derivative works (for example, your own "Master class in permanent jewellery" course) using FLA content
- reuse FLA assessment prompts, rubrics, or quiz questions for any purpose other than your own assessment with FLA
- remove or alter any copyright notice, watermark, or other proprietary marking
A licence to display the digital badge that comes with your certification is set out in Terms of Service §6.4 and is separate from the limits above.
4. No automated access, scraping, or platform interference
You agree not to:
- use any automated system, bot, crawler, scraper, or AI agent to access FLA, except for legitimate web crawlers operating within the terms of
robots.txtand within ordinary rate limits - bulk-export, mirror, or systematically index any part of the FLA platform — including the training library, the AI assistant chat history, the community, the events calendar, the content library, or the public verification register
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent any rate limit, paywall, gating logic, video heartbeat, quiz cooldown, or assessment integrity control
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform, except to the extent that mandatory law (for example, the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) decompilation defence) allows you to do so for interoperability purposes after notice to us
- introduce malware, viruses, ransomware, or any code designed to interfere with the platform or with other users
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any FLA account, system, server, network, or data
- perform any security testing, vulnerability scanning, or denial-of-service activity against FLA without our prior written authorisation. Responsible-disclosure reports are welcome at
security@foreverlinkedacademy.com
The public verification register is deliberately public so that consumers can verify an artist's credentials. It is not a directory we license for bulk reuse. We rate-limit it and we will block access from any source we detect bulk-extracting it.
5. Conduct in the community, AI assistant, and direct messages
FLA includes community features — discussions, comments, reactions, direct messages, event RSVPs, and challenge submissions — and an AI assistant.
You agree not to:
- post or send content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, hateful, threatening, or invasive of another person's privacy
- post or send sexually explicit material, content harmful to minors, or content depicting graphic violence
- impersonate any other person — including any FLA-certified artist, FLA reviewer, FLA staff member, or any third-party brand, supplier, or regulator
- use FLA to send unsolicited commercial messages, recruit users away from FLA to a competing platform, or harvest other users' contact details
- post content you do not have the right to post (for example, copyrighted material owned by someone else)
- use the AI assistant to generate content that would breach this AUP if you posted it yourself
- post content designed to manipulate certification reviewers (for example, to influence an assessment outcome before it is finalised)
We may remove any content that breaches this AUP and we may suspend any account that posts repeatedly or seriously breaches it.
6. Honest representation of the credential
If you hold an FLA certification or display an FLA badge, you agree to represent it honestly. In particular, you agree not to:
- represent yourself as holding a higher certification tier than the one you currently hold
- continue to display a certification badge or claim after your certification has lapsed, been suspended, or been revoked
- represent FLA certification as a government qualification, an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) qualification, or as conferring legal authority that it does not confer
Honest credential representation is also a matter for the Code of Conduct procedure described in Terms of Service §11.
7. Reporting a breach
If you become aware of a breach of this AUP by another user — for example, a publicly posted FLA module video, an account being shared across a team, or a scraping bot — please report it to support@foreverlinkedacademy.com with as much detail as you can provide.
For suspected security vulnerabilities, please report responsibly to security@foreverlinkedacademy.com. Do not test the vulnerability against other users' accounts or data.
For Code of Conduct concerns about a certified artist's professional conduct, use the dedicated procedure described at foreverlinkedacademy.com/code-of-conduct.
8. How we enforce this policy
When we believe this AUP has been breached, we may take any of the following actions — proportionate to the seriousness and frequency of the breach:
- Warning. A written notice that an action breaches the AUP, with a request to stop.
- Content removal. Removal of specific content from the community or other surfaces.
- Feature restriction. Temporary loss of access to specific features (for example, posting in the community, using the AI assistant, or the public register listing).
- Account suspension. Temporary loss of access to your account, with notice and an explanation.
- Account termination. Permanent closure of your account, where the breach is serious, repeated, or fraudulent. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of fees paid for the period during which the breach occurred, subject to your statutory consumer rights.
- Certification consequences. Where you hold an FLA certification, the Code of Conduct procedure in Terms of Service §11 may also apply.
- Legal action. In cases of copyright infringement, account fraud, security intrusion, or harassment, we may also pursue civil remedies and refer the matter to law enforcement.
We will follow the procedural fairness expectations set out in Terms of Service §11 (notice, opportunity to respond, internal appeal) for any action that affects your certification status. For actions that affect your access alone, we will give you written notice and a reason where doing so is consistent with the safety of other users.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, new forms of misuse we have seen, or changes in the law. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
The current version of this policy is always published at foreverlinkedacademy.com/acceptable-use.
